Westian leaners came out victoriously in the varied contests held during the celebration of Values Education Month.

Briana A. Valerio was declared first place in the poster making contest while Zaira Nicole L. Libutan’s entry in slogan making contest was adjudged as the third place. Mrs. Alma L. Ternora and Mr. Antonio E. Villegas trained Valerio while Ms. Aileen S. Largosta and Rosario V. Collado coached Libutan. In essay writing contest, Angela Kylie C. Barrios snagged the third place. Her coaches are Mrs. Hannah Ruth R. David and Mrs. Juliet P. Boncales.

Westian students also ruled the quiz bee contest held on Nov. 21, 2023 at Epifanio Delos Santos Elementary School. Geoffrey Daniel Gono bagged the 1st place in Grade 9 level as he bested his competitors in the said tilt. Meanwhile Liam Michael Miralles landed in 2nd place among the Grade 7 learners. Finally, Althea Barviel Mindajao and Ninnia Cacerez settled for 3rd place among the Grade 8 and Grade 10 contestants respectively. Trainers of the said learners are Mrs. Gina Mendoza (Miralles), Mrs. Janice A. Bergonia (Mindajao), Ms. Rachell Samson (Gono), and Mrs. Alma Ternora (Cacerez).
