Pasay City West High School achieved another milestone when four out of its seven projects were recognized as part of the roster of Schools’ Best Practices for school year 2020-2021 by the Schools Division of Pasay City given during the awarding ceremony held on Jan. 10, 2021 via Google meet. One project also made it to the list of Promising Projects.   

The four projects that made it to the roster are: Project QuCEI (Quality Connection for Efficient Information)), Project MINE ALL (Mathematics Innovative and Enhancement Activities or Asynchronous Learning of Learners), Project eCONNECT (Electronic Centralized Organized Network for New Normal Collaborative Teaching), and Project iGrAPPhs (I graph, I grasp, I innovate Apps). Meanwhile, Project CARES was included in the list of Promising Projects for SY 2020-2021.  Consequently, the School Monitoring Evaluation and Adjustment (SMEA) Team was also hailed as one of the Best SMEA Implementers.

These projects were submitted in November of 2021 and were evaluated in December 16 of the same year by the School Division of Pasay City Best Practice Committee. The Committee is comprised of eight members:

  2. Mr. Librado F. Torres – Chief Education Program Supervisor – CID/DMEA Member
  3. Mrs. Lovelynn Jane S. Bacera – Division School-based Management Coordinator
  4. Mr. Agapito Teodoro Manaog – Principal IV, Kalayaan National High School/NAPPSSHI – President/Schools Division of Pasay City Best Practice Member for Elementary Schools
  5. Mrs. Glenda D. Tabaquirao – Principal IV, Timeteo Paez Elementary School/PESPA President/Schools Division of PasayCity Best Practice Member for Secondary and Integrated Schools
  6. Mr. Renato N. Robles – GPTA Federation Pasay President
  7. Mrs. Flerida S. Pajarillaga – Senior Education Program Specialist – SMM&E/DMEA Secretariat and Process Observer
  8. Mrs. Fatima P. Fajardo – Education Program Specialist II – SMM&E/DMEA Secretariat and Process Observer

Other projects of PCWHS are the Project YAKAP (Yakapin ang Kabataan, Akayin sa Paaralan) and Project FilipiKNOWell. Spearheaded by the school principal, Mr. Peter R. Cannon Jr., the said projects became a success through the efforts of all the teachers and staff from the various departments.
