PCWHS Teachers Rule SDO Pasay ICT Innovation Contest

Pasay City West High School teachers shone bright during the awarding ceremony of the 2021 Division ICT Innovation Contests held in SDO Conference Hall on June 18, 2021.
Featured in the said tilt was divided into two categories – ICT for teaching and learning and ICT for governance.
PCWHS bagged twin wins in the ICT for teaching and learning category. Project EConnect (Electronic Centralized, Organized Network for New Normal Collaborative teaching) by Mrs. Socorro Domingo and Mr. Robert Querubin Baňez was declared as first place while Project E-Drive (Delivering and Reinventing Virtual Education) by Ms. Cynthia L. Abarquez and Mrs. Adelina P. Limos settled for third place.
Meanwhile, nabbed three places in the ICT for governance category. Those entries are: Project AFAM (Access to Facilities and Materials) by Mrs. Ma. Gina P. Bituaran and Mrs. Arlene Joy T. Jacob (third), Project DATE MO QUA SUREE (Digitized Accessibility to Efficient Monitoring of Quality Access-Synchronized Utilization of Resources Essential to Enrollment) by. Ms. Almeda C. Macaranas and Mr. Ralph C. Malacad (fourth), and project EQR MO CHARR (Efficient Quality Response Monitoring thru Contactless Human Access Reinvented) by Mrs. Piedad O. Diola and Mr. Jameson S. Suzara.
The winners received certificate of recognition and gift certificate while their respective schools received trophy. Members of each team likewise received certificate of appreciation.
Initiated by Mr. Erick D. Comia, SDO Pasay Information and Technology Officer I, the contest aimed to foster the teachers’ ICT skills in delivering quality education in the new normal.
Present in the awarding ceremony were Dr. Loreta B. Torrecampo, CESO V, Pasay City Schools Division Superintendent; Dr. Arturo A. Tolentino, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; Mr. Librado F. Torres, Chief Education Program Supervisor; Mr. Erick D. Comia, SDO Personnel, Pasay City School Principals, and the teacher-awardees.
Dr. Tolentino welcomed the guests and the awardees while Dr. Torrecampo gave the inspirational talk. Mr. Torres did the closing remarks. Emcee of the event was Mrs. Flerida S. Pajarillaga, Senior Education Program Specialist – Monitoring and Evaluation.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ronel U. Arellano, Division Physical Facilities Coordinator and Dr.
Maria Recelle Enriquez-Reyes, Medical Officer III gave special song numbers.
