Pasay City Council of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the Philippines launched the Scouting Month Celebration at Jose Rizal Elementary School on Oct 10, 2023.
The celebration began with pride as the Pasay City West High School Senior Scouts led the Entrance and Exit of Colors following this, Sctr. John Francis L. Octaviano, 2BH w/ CML, renewed the Scout Oath and Law, reminding everyone of the Scouting principles.
The event was graced by esteemed individuals who shared highly inspirational messages. Dr. Joel T. Torrecampo, CESO VI, BSP Pasay Council Commissioner, emphasized the vital role Scouts play in shaping the future. Director Lorena G. Landingin, Officer in Charge of the Office of the Regional Scout Director, encouraged Scouts to embrace leadership and innovation. Hon. Joey Calixto-Isidro, Councilor, and First Vice Chairperson, shared invaluable insights that fueled the passion of the Scouts to give their best for the movement and for the school.
Recognition and appreciation were bestowed upon the deserving graduates of various training programs. Parchments and honorable charges were awarded to those who had shown their unwavering commitment to self-improvement and the Scouting movement. Among the awardees, we take immense pride in acknowledging Sctr. Agapito Teodoro N. Manaog, who received his 2 beads token and parchment, a symbol of his remarkable dedication to Scouting.
The Wood Badge, a prestigious training program for leaders, played a significant role in this event. As leaders received their beads and charges, they made a solemn promise to fulfill their duty in the service of Scouting, further strengthening the fabric of this great movement.
During the Scouting Month Celebration in Pasay City, Sctr. Agapito Teodoro N. Manaog received well-deserved recognition for his dedication to Scouting.
