Pasay City West High School (PCWHS) gym came alive with the spirit of numbers and equations as the Math Fair 2023 took place from February 13 to 17, 2023. With the theme “Mathematics for Everyone,” the fair was designed by mathematics teachers, led by Department Head Dr. Aracelie S. Serdaňa, to ignite students’ enthusiasm for math-related activities and projects.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Lilibeth Mirales as the chairperson, the five-day event offered a plethora of exciting activities and contests. The Math Blitz, Math Quiz Bee, Math Fair Exhibit, and Math Fashion show showcased the students’ skills and knowledge in various mathematical concepts.

To make the fair more engaging and interactive, students were exposed to captivating games such as Hundred Treasures, Desmos Game Blitz, Circle Cover Puzzle, and Probability Spins. These activities aimed to create a fun and stimulating learning environment, fostering a deeper appreciation for the subject.

With the Math Fair 2023, Pasay City West High School demonstrated its commitment to nurturing the students’ mathematical abilities and inspiring a love for numbers and equations among all participants.
