With different activities that aimed to foster students’ creativity and innovation, the school held its Math Fair 2024 on January 8-12, 2024 at the school’s Audio-Visual Room.

With a theme of Educating Learners for Mathematical Proficiency, the week-long event featured different activities and contests. To wit: Search for Best Math Iconic Character, Math Blitz Contest (for Students, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff), Math Fair Exhibit, Math Feud, Math Quiz Bee, and Rap-A-Math with Dance Contest.

The activity kicked-off on January 8 with the parade of the candidates of for Best Math Iconic Character. Present in the event were Mr. Agapito Teodoro N. Manaog, PCWHS principal; Dr. Aracelie S.Serdaňa, Head Teacher VI (Math Department), Math teachers, parents, and select students.

Winners of the contest were announced during the closing ceremony held on January 12 with Dr. Renato B. Mesada,Public Schools District Supervisor for Cluster 9 gracing the day. Also present were Mr. Manaog, Mrs. Ivy A. Tanglao, the school assistant principal; Department Heads,  and students. Winners received medals, trophies and certificates.
