Pasay City West High School proudly earned 2nd Place in the NESTLÉ Wellness Campus Sarap Sustansya Cook-Off Competition, an inter-school culinary event held in November 2025 that promotes the importance of homemade cooking and the preparation of meals that are both nutritious and delicious.
The school was represented by the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Department, under the leadership and support of Dr. Agapito Teodoro N. Manaog, Principal IV. The successful participation was also made possible through the guidance of Mr. Giovanni Rex T. Sorita, Head VI of the TLE Department; Dr. Omar I. Aguilar, Head VI of the MAPEH Department; and Ms. Narcisa V. Lim, Wellness Coordinator.
Guided by their coach, Mr. Julius D. Esteban, Teacher I, the student participants showcased commendable culinary skills, creativity, and teamwork throughout the competition. The official competitors were Jhonson L. Cabintoy, Trixie Shane Santiago, and Willsfraco A. Saycon, who impressed the judges with their well-prepared dishes that emphasized proper nutrition and balanced meals.
Their strong performance placed Pasay City West High School among the top-performing schools in the division. This achievement brings pride to the entire PCWHS community and further strengthens the school’s commitment to wellness advocacy, nutrition education, and excellence in TLE instruction.
