Pasay City West High School was declared as the Best School Website (Secondary Schools category) during the awarding ceremony of SDO-Pasay City Division Search for Best School Website (Year 3) held on November 29, 2021 at SDO Conference Hall.
The school’s website is managed by a team composed of Mrs. Jocelyn C. Chinchilla as Website Administrator, Mrs. Celia L. Singcol as Content Writer and Editor and Mr. Roberto Querubin R. Bañez as Graphic Editor. Each department within the school also had their website content contributors and all of these undertakings were spearheaded by our esteemed Principal Mr. Peter R. Cannon Jr.
The competition was presided over by a panel of division judges comprised of Dr. Arturo A. Tolentino (OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent), Mr. Librado F. Torres (Chief Education Program Supervisor-Curriculum Implementation Division), Dr. Normina B. Hadji Yunnos (Education Program Supervisor-LRMS) and Dr. Ramil D. Dorol (Education Program Supervisor-TLE/EPP/TVL) who assessed the school websites under the criteria of Content, Navigation, Structure and Design, Appearance and Multimedia, and Uniqueness. This three- year recognition engagement is under the initiative of the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent through the Division IT Officer, Mr. Erick D. Comia.
The school website serves as a valuable tool that makes data management and information easier. It acts as the virtual bulletin board, an electronic archive, and the online welcome banner. The school website is the symbol that represents the school in this Digital Age.
