The Department of Education released the official list of 2021 Basic Education Research Fund (BERF) grantees on Aug. 24, 2021 by virtue of DepEd Regional Memorandum Order No. 493 s. 2021.
Seven teachers from Pasay City West High School qualified for the said annual regional grant. To wit: Algani R. Beceril (FilipiKNOWell: Makinig at Magbasa, Paunlarin ang
Kahusayan sa Asignaturang Filipino sa Bagong Kadawyan); John Francis G. Sembrero (Project iGrAPPhs: “I graph, I grasp, I innovate Apps”); Janalin Mae T. Romblon (Improving Learner’s Performance using a Guided Home Plan); Hazel B. Enerio (Humanizing the Remote Teaching Screen Through Teacher -Made Digital Computation Videos (TMDCV) to Reinforce Students’ Problem-Solving Ability in Physics); Rodolfo C. Del Rosario (Ang Antas ng Stress (Tensyon) ng mga piling mag-aaral ng Grade 9: Basehan sa Paggamit ng Arte (Art Therapy Exercises)); Rica Joy D. Gloria (Reinforce Mathematics Achievement of Tier 2 and 3 Grade 9 Students using the Khan Academy App); and Dr. Aracelie S. Serdaňa (EQR Mo Sa WEsT: Its Impact on the School Services).
The said teachers were among the other grantees from the 16 division public schools in the National Capital Region (NCR). They were selected from hundreds of teacher-made action research proposals submitted to the region. The Basic Education Research Fund (BERF) granted financial support to teacher-researchers in the completion of their action research.
