Dr. Myrna B. Gaza, PCWHS principal led the orientation of Grade 7 students and their parents last June 1, 2018 at the school gym.

Present in the event were Mrs. Nida D. Raagas, Guidance Coordinator; Mr. Ferdinand Rivera, GPTA president; department heads, Grade 7 advisers, parents and students.

Dr. Gaza discussed the school rules and regulations particularly the DepEd Order No. 03, s. 2018 or the Basic Education Enrollment Policy. The principal explained that under the said order, transferees from private and public schools who failed to submit their SF 9 (formerly F137) on or before August 31 of the current school year shall be classified as ‘temporary enrolled´ students. She stressed that a temporary enrolled student will be given ‘temporary report card’ which contains the student’s grade in all subject areas in every grading period. And because the said card is labeled as ‘temporary’ it is inadmissible to the next level hence it cannot be used in promoting a child to the next level. Dr. Gaza further explained that the temporary card will only be replaced with a permanent card if the learner has submitted the required documents. In relation to this, parents will be asked to sign an affidavit of undertaking as stipulated in DepEd order no. 3.

Mrs. Ana Marie A. Afuang, Grade 7 Coordinator introduced the Grade 7 advisers. Mr. Rommel Macatiag led the opening prayer while Mr. Rododlfo C. Del Rosario, Grade 7 Assistant Coordinator emceed the event.
