A philanthropist who chose to keep his identity secret sponsored the free blood type testing of 400 hundred Senior High School students and a number personnel of Pasay City West High School last Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017 at the school gym.
The golden-hearted donor did the said act in collaboration with Philippine Red Cross-Pasay City Chapter. The said donor who happened to be a friend of Mr. Nick Macaspag, the head of School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, paid for all the needed materials for the said testing such as syringe, alcohol, and cotton. According to Mr.Macaspag, his friend did the said act in accordance with the seven fundamental principles of the Red Cross which are humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.
