A total of Grade 7 students in PCWHS , 47 of 141 which are males while 94 are females, received    vaccination against Measles, Rubella, Tetanus and Diphtheria (MrTd) through  DepEd’s School-Based Immunization Program held the school clinic on Oct. 11, 2019.

Nurses and other health workers from Pasay City division did the    immunization in response to the Department of Health’s call on parents to avail the free vaccination program of DOH and DepEd.

Days prior to the vaccination, PCWHS school nurses Filipina Arellano and Ana Cruz distributed a letter informing the parents of the school-based immunization program. To ensure that the students’ vaccination will be on a voluntary basis, parents’ consent forms were also sent to the parents through their children.  Only those students whose parents agreed to have their children vaccinated were given the MrTd shots.

It’s a free vaccine! A couple of grade 7 students receive the MrTd shots from DepEd school nurse during the school based immunization program held on Oct. 11, 2019.
