After bagging multiple awards across various contests, Pasay City West High School (PCWHS) was hailed as the Best -Performing School – First Runner-Up during the 2025 Division Science and Technology Fair (DSTF) held on October 16 at Pasay City South High School.
Topping the list of first-place winners were Kazki Drei P. Bautista in Robotics and Intelligent Machines-Individual Category and Athea Barviel Mindajao in Mathematics and Computational Science- Individual Category. Both students, coached by Mr. Ralph C. Malacad, earned their well-deserved spots in the upcoming Regional Science and Technology Fair 2025 this November.
Meanwhile, Dharby Denisse B. Lupaz once again proved her artistic excellence after bagging First Place in the Poster Making Contest, defending her title from last year and achieving a back-to-back victory under the mentorship of Mr. Jaycent M. Bustos.
With the theme “Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation,” Westians showcased their brilliance in various events, including the Quiz Bee, Science Tricks, Poster Making, Robotics, Research Festival, and STEM Innovation Expo.
The PCWHS delegation received intensive training from their dedicated coaches, under the guidance of Science Department Head Mrs. Gina T. Villanueva, and the supervision of Principal Mr. Agapito Teodoro N. Manaog, together with Assistant Principals Mrs. Ena R. Tamayo and Mrs. Rosa R. Alferez.
