Thirty-seven scouts from Pasay City were conferred the Eagle Scout Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), during the National Court of Honor held on September 13, 2025, at the Schools Division Office of Pasay City Conference Hall.

Among the awardees were nine scouts from Pasay City West High School (PCWHS): Daven Jester R. Atun, John Vincent D. Banan, Aldritz B. Casera, James Ryan D. Rebucas, Joshua Rhael D. Cipres, Aaron M. Dy, Tyron John S. Rabang, Jillboy L. Valdez, and Chris John P. Mendiola.

The newly conferred Eagle Scouts were guided by Scout Leader John Francis L. Octaviano, ALT, and Scout Leader Gener Eugenio, 2BH with CML.

Highlighting the values of leadership, discipline, and integrity, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano encouraged the Eagle Scouts to be exemplars of the scouting spirit in their schools and communities.

Lorena G. Landingin, LT, Assistant Regional Scout Director for NCR and Chairperson of the Court of Honor, graced the event and congratulated the young achievers for their commitment to excellence and service.

The Eagle Scout Award stands as a testament to the awardees’ dedication, perseverance, and commitment to the ideals of scouting.

Present during the ceremony were Dr. Joel T. Torrecampo, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent of Pasay City and Concurrent Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Assistant Regional Director of DepEd NCR; Dr. Quinn Norman O. Arezza, JD, Public Schools District Supervisor and Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; and Mr. Agapito Teodoro N. Manaog, PCWHS Principal, together with adult scout leaders, parents, and guests.
