Ezra Andrei A. Española was declared as the    division winner of BSP-DepEd Oratorical contest on Sept. 27, 2019 at the SDO conference hall.   The biennial contest is sponsored by Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in cooperation with the Department of Education (DepEd). Espaňola bested four other contestants from Kalayaan National High School (KNHS), Pasay City National Science High School (PCNSHS), Pasay City East High School (PCEHS) and Pasay City South High School (PCSHS). Coming in as second place was Yuan Gabriel Nulud  (KNHS) while Faith Juvic L. Basi (PCNSHS) settled for third.                                                          Judges of the oratorical contest were: Mr. Rogelio S. Junio, Education Program Supervisor in Mathematics; Mr. John Carlos S. Adversario,  Assistant Principal for  Academics of Manila Tytana Colleges;   and Dr. Bernardita A. Perez, Education Program Supervisor for the private schools.

Present in the event were: Dr. Imelda V. Boquiren, Education Program Supervisor in English; Ms. Ma. Teresa A. Perez, BSP representative, English Department Heads Mrs.   Veronica D. Miranda (PCWHS), and Anabelle V. Cusi (PCNSHS) as well as the OIC- Head of PCEHS English Department Ms. Marilyn A. Mamadod. Other students and trainers were also present. A number of students gave intermission number. They are: Via P. Fegarido, Astrid Ynikho Nolasco, Eunice Jane    Bayani and Samantha Nollora                from PCWHS and the pair of Princess May N. Dela Cruz and Edgardo Angelo  A. Remanente from PCNSHS.                                   Being the Division champion. Ezra represented Pasay City Division in the NCR level held on Oct. 29, 2019 at BSP Plenary Hall. Mrs. Remedios B. Dominguez is her trainer.
